A new beginning on a firm foundation
Genesis Church is a new church in Seymour, Indiana, founded by Pastors Jeff and Cindy Barnett. We have begun this new work with the support of Genesis Church in Bloomington and the Indiana Assemblies of God.
In a growing city in a changing world, our goal is to offer people a new beginning on a firm foundation. We want people to know there is HOPE in today’s world. Genesis Church is a place to Experience God, Build relationships and Make a difference. We invite you to join us on this journey.
About the Pastors
Pastor Sam and his wife Jodi Kuehn have deep roots in southern Indiana and come from a long lineage of strong Christians serving the Lord. Their hearts are to see Seymour and the surrounding area walk fully in the Kingdom principles God has established in His Word, To experience the unsurpassed Love of Christ, To walk daily (minute by minute) with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. One of Sam’s favorite passages is in Exodus 33 stating: “In Your going with us we are a People of distinction”. Come and be a distinct part of what God is doing!
